My new kitten Iris was peeing on my couch & anywhere else she could find. I bought 3 of these & it immediately stopped!!!! WOW Now she even gets along with my other 4 year old Sassy. I can finally enjoy my new fur baby.
With out this. Tete who is turning gray. Would without this this Feliway. He would yell and yell, even as I would go to ded. Demanding out and told no he would get louder and louder. Then I was told that he may missmy wife who had passed away. That I was told that this Feliway may help him and me. No one had it hete in Shelton Washington. But found it in Olympia Washington. After pluging it in and once it got into the air that it will take about 2 days. He was back, what he went through he slep for 3 days. It is a little high in cost it is well worth it
I have cats of all ages, the oldest is 17. We downsized, we had all sorts of problems! My babies were scared and hid at times, but they all commingled in this small house just fine, even though their previous home was large and they all had their own areas. I used the Feliway and honestly think it really helped! No fighting, spraying or serious signs of stress. I admit being a “ cat whisperer “ but I’m ordering more for the new house. Maybe it helped me also! Who knows? Island cat lady.
I have used the classic feliway diffuser in the past (and the spray, dog version and wipes that used to be available) with great success. When buying a new diffuser for a new cat introduction I decided to try the new Optimum version. It's a good product but I don't think there is any change from the original version. The chemical makeup is the same on the packages and the diffuser looks slightly different (has a night light) but doesn't seem to work any differently than the original. If cost is a concern, try the classic feliway first. They're great products and worth the try. If funding is not a worry, trying one of the optimum or multicat options.
